Grace Suh of IBM and the New York Hall of Science

IBM and the Hall of Science have developed some Problem-Based Learning (PBL) activities for all levels of Science.

Grace Suh, for IBM, will be our presenter.

These lessons include built in supports for teachers and include videos on how to break kids into groups, questioning techniques, how to videos and teaching artifacts.

Focus for this meeting:

To identify ways in which we can support each other as we move toward implementing the Common Core Standards so we can best meet the needs of our students.

  • three mathematical problems that must be solved in Chemistry, Physics or Earth Science;
